Hi everyone I'm back to blogging! We're now back to normal programming. I got so busy with school that I can't really find time to squeeze in a new blog post. School works got crazy these past few weeks that it even got to the point where sleeping is not in my priority list anymore but thank God I was able to surpass all the requirements & deadlines! This semester is really tiring, draining & stressful. I'm already in my 3rd year in college so maybe that's why things are getting harder now cause I'm getting close in entering "the real world" as they coined it. But I'm not here just to rant about how stress I was.. I was thinking what to blog and then I remember the #20factsaboutme bandwagon on Instagram. I was tagged a couple of times but I wasn't able to post mine so I thought I might just do it here on the blog. It's never too late. right? or am I? Either way, here it is. :)
1. I used to be camera shy. Believe it or not, I was. :) I can still clearly remember those awkward smiles whenever a family member takes a photo of me. Here's a funny story, my mom got angry (not really) cause she wants to take a photo of me just so she can use it as her phone's wallpaper but I was hiding at my lola's shoulder because I really don't want her to take a photo of me. I'm camera shy like that! LOL. Look at me now. People change, guys HAHAHA
2. I studied how to paint when I was in elementary and experienced my first ever exhibit. I enjoyed every moment of it. Seeing my painting at an exhibit is such a life changing experience. I really wanna be a painter before (I'm inlove with abstract & still life paintings) but as I grew up and being exposed to other things, my interests changed but I'm not closing my doors tho. I rarely draw now but who knows, I might paint again in the near future I just have to relive my skills. We'll see.
3. I love cheese! maybe that's why I'm cheesy lol! Kidding aside, I can eat cheese the whole day. For breakfast, lunch and dinner! Whenever I eat spaghetti, I always get excited not because of the spaghetti itself but because of the cheese on top of it! I would always eat the cheese first before mixing the sauce into the noodles. :)
4. I can't whistle. I really want to learn how but maybe whistling is not for me. My lolo's been teaching me ever since, but still.. no improvements on my side.
5. My dad doesn't want me to be called Nikka. Sorry dad! I can still remember how he told my aunt that Nikka is not my nickname and that's not the name I'm supposed to be called. Plus my relatives (father side) doesn't call me Nikka and it's completely fine with me. :)
6. Paris, Greece, New York, Germany, Hongkong, Vigan and Boracay are at the top of my travel list. I'll be the happiest girl alive if I will be able to check this places off my bucketlist! :) Soon!
7. I always complain about having nothing to wear. Like what they say, "A girl can never have too many clothes." Let's just say that I can now put up my own little shop with the number of clothes that I have.
8. I'd rather stay in my room & sleep than go out and party. Call me old fashioned but I choose sleep over anything else every weekends or whenever I have my rest day, It has got to be my favorite TGIF/holiday activity for years. :)
9. I wanna be a well known fashion stylist someday. Or work for a very prestigious magazine. Or have my own clothing line. Passion for Fashion.
10. My phones (elementary-present) are all Sony. T'was Sony Ericsson back then. My phones are all being bought in Austria and I don't know why my ninang always choose Sony for me but it's really a good brand, I must say ;)
11. I only use blue ballpen. Yes, eversince I entered college, the only color of pen I've been using is Blue. I don't know but there's something with this color that I feel like I can easily absorb & understand the things that I jotted down.
12. I'm an introvert at heart. You might see me as the bubbly, joker and outgoing girl at school but I'm totally different when I'm at home, I don't talk as much as I do in school. Give me a book/magazine or a notebook and a pen and I'm a happy camper. :)
13. I hate hospitals. I feel weak whenever I go inside it. I feel like my knees are gonna give up on me everytime I walk on the hallways of the hospital. I can't explain why I always feel so uncomfy that's why I try to avoid hospitals as much as possible.
14. Whenever I ask people on what is their first impression of me.. I always always get mataray/ intimidating as their answer. I get this a lot so I'm kind of used to it already but hey, I don't bite so you can approach me naman. :)
15. Getting my nails done is my escape from this stressful life. I always see myself in a nail salon after having a very stressful week or two. I feel like I'm a changed woman after doing so lol!
